XM Radio Suspends Opie & Anthony

XM Radio announced today that the company has suspended Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia, hosts of "The Opie & Anthony Show" and ceased broadcast of the show for 30 days, effective immediately

Well, we all knew it was coming... those corporate richards have done it again!

What has this world come to! I personally have 4 xm radios... guess what? They are alll getting cancelled!! How can you suspend these guys for "free speech" that we, the consumer, pay to listen to?

Hit XM hard in their pockets.. cancel now!!!

It's not about freedom of speech, it's about dollars. Opie and Anthony aren't bringing in subscribers. Simple math. If they generate income, they'll be retained. Sirius and XM are one company. They need revenue. Stern generates 50 times as much revenue as O&A. He built Sirius all by himself. They has 600,000 listeners when he came on board. Now they forced the merger. O&A didn't do that. They're a bunch of radio posers.

Opie and Anthony are a bunch up losers who need to be canned. They suck! All I ever remember from them is their ranking on Howard Stern. The last funny bit they ever did was Tom Brokaw after the US went into Afghanistan. Face it, they're not funny and they pretend to be teenagers. They're arrogant and talk down to their listeners. You listeners don't get the joke. They hate you. I don't blame anyone for canceling their subscriptions. XM has nothing to offer but O&A. Pity them. Get Sirius, it's so much better. And listen to Stern and Bubba. Plus there's a ton of better personalities also on Sirius. I think it's great that all you morons are canceling your XM subscriptions because CBS terminated them. If XM terminated them too, it's because THEY'RE LOSERS!!!! F them

I agree... This isn't about liking O&A or Stern or anyone for that matter it's about finally having some freedom of speech via satellite radio (even if we have to pay for it) and now they are censuring that as well... XM should be absorbed by Sirius if this is how they are going to do business... It's just one more company selling out if you ask me.
